Kimberlin grew up along the seashores in Connecticut. It was always clear to her she desired to dive deeper into the world of art and design. After receiving a BFA in Fine Arts with an emphasis on sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Maryland Institute College of Art she travelled to Copenhagen where she participated in a workshop in Georg Jensen’s studio. She then apprenticed with a master goldsmith in Tuscany. Creating in precious metals on a smaller scale melded her artistic foundation with her love of the Earth’s beauty into a life as a fine jewelry designer working and living in New York City. Her love for creating distinctive and meaningful jewelry is echoed by her dedication to working directly with gem purveyors and mines to ensure that her pieces reflect the vivid colors, happiness and charismatic beauty our world has to offer.
